Congratulations to Myrtle Pogue, who celebrated her 94th birthday on Sunday. She was able to be at church Sunday morning. She said she enjoyed the birthday even though she was in a lot of pain. She got lots of cards, calls and visitors.
Hope she can soon feel better.
I enjoyed talking by telephone to Helen Kennedy one day last week. People get Helen and I mixed up, so I call her my adopted sister.
Thanks to Michelle Winders for playing the piano Sunday morning at church as our regular pianist was absent.
The WMU quarterly meeting will be at Liberty Baptist Church on Tuesday, October 13th from 10 to noon. A pot luck lunch will follow. Hope to see you there.
Our Senior Adults will go to the Olmstead Restaurant on Friday, Oct. 16. Melba will be driving our church bus. Will leave the church at 10 a.m. We always have a good time. After lunch, we will visit Creekwood and Logan Memorial Hospital.
Christine White is still in Logan Memorial Hospital. Hope she can soon been feeling better.
My cousin, Charlie Delk, read one of his poems Sunday morning that he wrote. It was about Noah and him building the Ark. So it went along with our Sunday school lesson. It was very pretty and we always enjoy hearing them.
We will be having “Movie Night” on Saturday, Oct. 17 at 6 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. The movie will be, “Do You Believe?”
Our revival will begin October 25 with Rev. Tim Nugent from Mt. Pleasant in Lewisburg doing the preaching. pray for us and we welcome you to come and be with us.
Some people having birthday in October are – my cousin Joe Delk 3, Wayne Winders 9, Noah Hurt 11, Trevor Christian 4, Caleb Epley 14, our pastor’s wife Avanell Clardy 18, my son Marion Thomas 17, my nephew Tony Fuller 13, Raelan Marie Vibert 20, my cousin Hazel Fleming 24, our oldest member of Antioch Baptist Church, Mae White will be 97 years young on Oct. 24. Let’s shower her with birthday cards. She resides at Creekwood, 107 Boyles Dr., Russellville KY, Room 319. My cousin Sandra Sharp, 29th.

My great granddaughter Erika and Matt Brown will celebrate their anniversary on the 23rd of October.
Roy and Cheryl Flewallen will celebrate their anniversary on October 12th. We wish for them many more years together.
A good friend, Peggy Taylor, was to have surgery on Tuesday. Hope and pray that everything goes well.
Our good friend, Patty Campbell recently had surgery on her wrist. Hope she can soon be feeling much better.
Sure did appreciate a good supper from the Elk Lick Church on Friday night.
Remembering God’s provisions for yesterday gives hope and strength for today.
Sue Addison is home visiting her family from California. She was at church Sunday morning.
