A most beautiful day in Logan County. The sun is shining and just a day to get out and kick up your sheels.
Sorry friend Kathryn Stuart spent several hours last Friday in the ER at Logan Memorial. Hopefully she is still feeling better. Those trips have to be made sometimes. I’m sure glad we have a local hospital.
Wednesday WKU retired professor Dr. Lynwood Montell, of Bowling Green, was down and we got out and rode around and ended up at Webb’s and ate our delicious lunch. If you haven’t tried it, do soon, you will enjoy. Lisa Stuart was the cook that day.
Saturday, Sept. 19th was the day chosen as the usual Johnson family get-together day at the activities building at Elk Lick. There were 26 of us attending. We had lots of food, just not as many people as we would have liked. Those attending were Sherry Harris of Louisville, Bobby and Freida Bennison, Jeff and Corrie Fuller, Olivia and Sean, Larry and Judy Wilcutt of Russellville, Joyce Hardison and Laurette Hardison Nash of Red Hill, Jessica and Bryan Fuller and new baby Ace of Auburn, James and Sue Fuller, Louise Henderson of antioch, Mitchel and Heather Johnson and Jenny of Lewisburg, and of course me. It was an enjoyable day. We wish more would please attend. These gals are good cooks, try it and see.
After the day, Sherry came home with me and spent the night, getting up early this morning heading back home in time to be at church. She is the pianist so she made it back in time for services.
If anything else is going on I don’t know know where or when. So hope you have a good week ahead, and keep busy and well.
I think before there is fall break isn’t it? So make plans for that. See ya later.
