Trick-or-treat Treasure

8 months 4 days 3 hours ago |366 Views | | | Email | Print

The Stevenson Elementary School cafeteria was abuzz with excitement this fall after cafeteria staff decorated the room with a large fodder shock surrounded by hay bales, potted plants, Halloween decorations and much more. The eye-catching decoration served as a backdrop for the children above, who were the lucky recipients of free trick-or-treat sacks given to one student in each elementary school grade by Russellville Independent Schools Food Services. The winning students were, from left to right on the front row, James Henderson, second grade; Gabriela Melchor-Perez, preschool; and Mary-Sue Christie Thompson, Kindergarten. The students in the back row, from left to right, are Conor Gomez, third grade; Ginger Ramsey, fourth grade; and Joshua McMurry, fifth grade.
