Mrs. Margie Latham recently celebrated another birthday and was treated to a big bash and the Country Plantation, which I’ve been hearing a lot about recently. Others enjoying helping her celebrate were Lynn and Wayne Joines of Belton, Gerald and Sheila Heltsley of Beechmont, Evan and Reese Whitis of Beaver Dam, Vicky and Dennis Martin of Belton, Jackie, Bryan and Drew Hollis and Jane Silvey. She really had a good time. I believe her “day” was the 19th. Anyway, many more happy birthday wishes go out your way.
You know how I enjoy gospel music, especially quartet music. That good harmony, so good. Well Mr. Willie Shores was on Feedback last week with part of his collection and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I could listen to it 24/7, so thanks Don and Willis, your efforts are most enjoyed. Keep it up.
Sorry John David Renfro has been in the local hospital, hope he is home now and doing much better.
Sorry Lois Earl “Farmer” Brown has again been in the Medical Center hospital in Bowling Green. He is now back home and hope he is lots better.
Sorry Dick Dickerson is still having medical problems, hope he can feel better and have some answers to his problems also.
I’ve had water problems this week. Had hot and cold water both in the kitchen, but only hot in the bathroom. I couldn’t flush the toilet. After grunts and groans, in which Stanley, nor I, didn’t know squat about, except to say “huh, it don’t work,” thank goodness for a caring pastor Bro. Art who came and did a lot. Finally on Saturday guess what? The water began flowing again. Was the line frozen? I don’t know. Just thankful it is okay once more.
Congrats to Mr. Alford Davis as he celebrates his 90th birthday. Wishes for many more and a special hi to Mrs. Jo, his wife.
Friday night was “Come to my table” night at church. Bringing my supper were Stephannie Borders and Sloan. Thank you both very much.
Enjoying breakfast Saturday morning with their mom, Virgina Hart were the boys Jerry and Terry.
