Louise Alma Whitescarver, 93, of Lewisburg, passed away Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, at Logan Memorial Hospital in Russellville.
She was born Sept. 26, 1919, in Todd County, a daughter of the late Zeral Watkins and the late Alma Dewdy Watkins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Whitscarver was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Whitescarver and her son, Gene Whitescarver.
Mrs. Whitescarver was a representative of Avon Company and a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Sept. 25 at 1 p.m. at Price Funeral Home with the Brother Larry Eaton and Brother Stoney Hildabrand officiating. Burial followed in the Lewisburg Cemetery, Visitation began at the funeral home Tuesday, Sept. 24 from 5-8 p.m.
She is survived by her son, Phinnis Whitescarver of Lewisburg; her daughter, Phyllis Stubblefield of Rossville, Ga.; her brother, Robert F. Watkins of Rossville, Ga.; her grandchildren, Michael Whitescarver (Melissa) of Lewisburg, Melvin Powell of Chattanooga, Tenn., Gale Whitescarver of Myrtle Beach, S.C. and Rhonda Neal (Eddie) of Chattanooga, Tenn.; her great-grandchildren, James Whitescarver of Auburn, Rance Neal, R.L. Neal and Riley Powell, all of Chattanooga, Tenn. and Christie Dotson (Ricky) of Lewisburg, and her great-great-grandchildren, Alyisa and Nathain Dotson, both of Lewisburg.
