Autumn Costelow, 15, of Russellville, killed her first deer Sunday, Oct. 15th. In her hand is the program of her great-grandfather, Wilmer Ray Delk. Autumn and her grandfather had went hunting at his farm multiple times this past year, but unfortunately had no luck. Wilmer became sick and was put in the hospital in the beginning of August and therefor had a family member come and plant wheat at the farm in hopes of drawing in deer for him and Autumn to go hunting again this fall after he got out of the hospital. Sadly on Sept. 5, Wilmer passed away. Autumn took the picture of her grandfather with her for good luck, which clearly paid off. Autumn took this picture in honor of her great-grandfather, who she believed helped guide her through it all.
