Kentuckiana Truck Pullers Association (KTPA) is coming to Logan County once again on Saturday, March 22 at 5 p.m. at the Logan County Extension Complex. This exciting event is being sponsored by the Logan County Cattlemen’s Association and is packed with family fun and lots to see.
KTPA is a nonprofit truck and tractor pulling organization who put on a pull last year that drew in close to one thousand attendees. Some of those featured include the Pro-Stock 2WD Trucks, Pro-Stock 4WD Trucks, 6,000 Limited Light Super Tractors, 10,000 Hot Farm Tractors, and 5,200 Open Class Antique Tractors among others.
Admission is $8 per person with age eight and under free.
“This is a pretty big event,” said Lonnie Epley who is helping with the series along with Barry Joe Wright. “KTPA is a very professional organization out of Cambellsville. They are the same organization that put on the pull last year and we were tickled to death to bring them back this year again.”
The Logan County Cattlemen’s Association raises money from such events to put back into the community. Funds generated from events such as this pull will go towards help students with scholarships, as well as trips for the FFA and 4-H camps.
