Local deputies were contacted by the Simpson County Sheriff’s Department that a pursuit was about to enter into Logan County on KY 100. Numerous deputies responded and spike strips were positioned on the road in attempts to stop the 2002 GMC SUV. The strips were deployed and struck at the intersection of KY 100 and Circle Drive. Sheriff’s deputies continued the pursuit until its end near the intersection of East 4th Street.

Taken into custody were Whitney S. Slack of Franklin, Joshua W. Culbreath of Franklin, Ashley Blair of Franklin and Tyler D. Bray of Lafayette, Tenn. All four were returned to Simpson County. They will face charges in Logan County as well.
