Gary and Jacqueline Woodward of Franklin are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Lindsey Garie Woodward, to Anthony John Sila, son of Virginia Loper of Beaver Dam and Joe Sila of Crown Point, Ind.
Lindsey is the granddaughter of Steve and Geraldine Hall and Leon and Marion Woodward of Auburn.
The bride-elect is a 2003 graduate of Muhlenberg South High School and a 2007 and 2009 graduate of Western Kentucky University earning her Bachelor and Master Degrees in Social Work. Lindsey is currently employed by The Medical Center Scottsville Cal Turner Rehab and Specialty Care as a Social Worker.
Anthony, formerly of Hawesville, is the grandson of Wanda Demott and the late William DeMott of Reynolds Station and the late Stevo Sila of Yugoslavia and the late Maria Sila of Chicago, Ill.
The bridegroom-elect is a 2002 graduate of Hancock County High School and a 2009 graduate of Bowling Green Technical College earning his Associates Degree in Culinary Arts. Anthony is currently employed at Freaky Fast, Inc. as the Area Manager and Operating Partner of Jimmy Johns locations in Bowling Green.
The couple will be married Nov. 2, 2013, at 5:30 p.m. at Hillvue Heights Chapel in Bowling Green with a reception to follow at the Franklin Country Club. Invitations have been sent.
