Matthew 4:1-11

When the devil attacks you He is not fighting you over your old man because your old man is not dangerous to him. He is fighting you over your new man. Any attack from the enemy is a clue that your enemy is convinced that you can achieve your destiny. Hell is sending you a signal that it doesn’t doubt what God has for you. Now what we need to understand is that an attack from the enemy is at the beginning of a new season in life that God is ready to move you into. The enemy wants to blind you and bind you to what God has for you. You see the gates of hell cannot prevail or stand up against the church. Satan tempted Jesus by challenging His identity. Satan tempted Jesus by first challenging who He was.

Matt.4:1-11“If You Are”. The Devil knows something about you that you haven’t realized about yourself. During warfare many times the Enemy will put more effort on you than you put on the enemy. He wants to stop you, and do whatever he has to do to do it. If we put as much effort on the enemy as he does on you, your battles wouldn’t last nearly as long as they do. The enemy fights you on the level of who you are and we fight back on the level we see ourselves. The enemy knows you according to your POSITION but we see ourselves according to our CONDITION. You see if you could see yourself the way the enemy sees you, you’ll praising yourself out of some of the mess you’re in, praying instead of whining, proclaiming instead of begging.
