John 12:27-28 (KJV)
27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour. 28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.
You see even Jesus had trouble. Now His trouble was this that there was a cross in between Him and His crown. There was a crown waiting for Him yet He had a cross to endure. He would be going to a throne but right now He was staring right at His cross. The cross is an instrument of death, shame and pain. Right now in Jesus’ life, people are talking about Him and plotting against Him. Even though one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess Him as Lord. In between us and a crown is a cross. You see we know that we are the head and not the tail, we are blessed coming in and going out, that my best days are still ahead of me. But right now I face trouble in this life. Sometimes instead of focusing on the cross we need to focus beyond our cross. Since we are being honest the reason you are who you are today is because of some trouble that you have face and overcome in your past. The trouble we have faced has actually propelled you to the next dimension in your life. Hebrews 12:2 (KJV) 2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God. You see we have to live life to grow in life. If you want patience then you have to go through some trying times; if you want to be comforted then you have go through pain; if you want to grow in love then you have to go through some hate; if you want to rejoice then you have to go through some hell; if you want peace that surpass all understanding then you have go through some storms. In this life there will be some trouble. If you never have any problems then how will you know for yourself that God can solve them! But the question is WHAT SHALL WE SAY?
Philippians 4:4-7 (KJV) 4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice. 5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand. 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Believers that don’t have time to worship don’t have a time management problem but a heart problem. We don’t enter God’s presence whining and complaining we enter His gates with thanksgiving.
