“We been working on controlling the ball and digging off the net. That is something that we have been lacking in the past. We have a young team and they have been working hard,” said head coach Deborah Elliott. “The girls are excited and they are ready to start the season”

“This summer the team has worked with the middle school and they have been very patient with them and very positive and that helped them out a lot. We have a new coach that has been working with us and she has a lot of fresh and new ideas and I’m looking forward to working with her,” said Elliott.
“I want the girls to bond and become one. We are a team and we are family and I want them to work on becoming more dependable on each other. I don’t want them to beat themselves up, I just want them to try their best. We won’t win every game, but the defeat will make us stronger,” said Elliott.
The Lady Panthers first game will be against the Lady Wildcats at Franklin-Simpson on August 21.
