Two Logan Countians were arrested Thursday, June 19 for breaking into a residence on Friendship Road in Auburn. Candice M. Hope, 26, of West Main Street, Auburn and Eddie D. Creek, 34, of Corinth Road, Russellville were taken into custody by Logan County Sheriff’s Deputy Kyler Harvey at approximately 6:36 p.m.
According to reports, the sheriff’s department responded to a call of burglary and upon arrival found the back door of the residence kicked in. Several items in the residence had been stolen including jewelry and medication.
During the investigation deputy Harvey arrested and charged Hope with burglary, 2nd degree; criminal mischief, 1st degree; theft of legend drug, 1st offense or value under $300; receiving stolen property under $10,000; possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance, 1st degree, 1st offense (drug unspecified).
Harvey also arrested and charged Creek with burglary, 2nd degree; criminal mischief, 1st degree; theft of legend drug, 1st offense or value under $300, and receiving stolen property under $10,000.
Both Hope and Creek were lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
