On Tuesday, March 14, 2017, at 11:42 p.m., the Logan County Sheriff’s Department was called out to 546 H.W. McPherson Road in Lewisburg in reference to a disturbance in progress. Upon arrival, deputies discovered two of the residents there, Terry Christmas, 24 and Kandy Allen, 20. Both had reportedly been fighting with one another.
While handing the disturbance, deputy Jarrod Lyons observed illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia in plain sight in one of the rooms of the mobile home. Lyons seized the contraband, which included a quantity of suspected methamphetamine and other items used to smoke, inhale, and store meth.
After concluding the investigation regarding the drug incident, four of the residents were subsequently arrested. Christmas and Allen, along with Kyle Porter, 26, and Joshua Christmas, 25. All were handcuffed and taken to the Logan County Detention Center where they were each lodged and criminally charged with possession of a controlled substance 1st degree (methamphetamine) and possession of drug paraphernalia.
