Aarons in Russellville has announced it will be partnering with the local non-profit “Logan County/Russellville Helping Hands” to better help the organization help others.
Helping Hands is run by Jennifer Dodson and Lacey Tooley who began the non-profit the first of the year. The two just recently opened the doors of their consignment store located at 1211 Nashville Road, to help bring in funds to use on those who need them.
“Whitney Johnson and Nancy Knight are part of the marketing team for Aarons,” said Tooley. “They contacted us and asked if we would be interested in partnering with them. Of course we said yes. We were very excited to have a business of this magnitude help us to help others.”
Those in the community can bring in a can of food and get a percentage off of a new lease. For 10 cans brought in a customer will get 25 percent off of a new lease and for 15 cans brought in a customer will receive 50 percent off of a new lease.
There will be a box in the front of the store for customers to put their can goods. Anyone can also come by the Helping Hands consignment shop and donate as well.
