Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

On Feb. 10, 2017 shortly after 11 p.m., Russellville Police conducted a traffic stop on a 1999 Lincoln Towncar at Russellville Square. Russellville’s K-9 Officer Jaxx was deployed during this traffic stop and he alerted to the presence of controlled substances in the vehicle. During a search of the vehicle, officers located suspected methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.

Michael Logan, of Auburn, was taken into custody without incident at the scene of the traffic stop. Logan was lodged at Logan County Detention Center on charges of possession of controlled substance (methamphetamine), possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
