Two sent to jail on drug charges

On Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2017, at 7:40 p.m., the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and the Russellville Police Department responded to 110 Clover Lane in Russellville in an attempt to locate Terry Wayne Creek who had an active parole violation warrant.

While at 110 Clover Lane, deputies located items of methamphetamine, marijuana, and several items of drug paraphernalia. As a result of the investigation, both Steven D. Moore, 35, of Russellville and Terry Wayne Creek, 38, of Russellville were arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance 1st degree 1st offense (methamphetamine), possession of drug paraphernalia. Creek was also served with a parole violation warrant.

Deputy Kyler Harvey is the investigation officer and was assisted by Sgt. Clint Wright and Sgt. Robert Toombs of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and officers Chris Bellar and Bill Moore of the Russellville Police Department.
