Drugs, guns, and money were confiscated by the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force Friday, Dec. 16, at approximately 10:30 a.m. after being called by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department to 1000 Concord Road after a complaint came in of shots fired.

Logan County Sheriff’s deputy Kyler Harvey made first contact with Brandon J. Gough of 1000 Concord Road when he arrived at the scene. While speaking with Gough, deputy Harvey smelled a strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence, which lead to further investigation. Agents with the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force arrived a short time later.

A search warrant was obtained by the task force and upon executing the warrant, detectives located and seized a large amount of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, guns, and several thousands of dollars in U.S. currency.

Gough, along with Walter Dobbins, were arrested and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.

Assisting the sheriff’s department and the drug task force were the Russellville Police Department and the Logan County Humane Society.
