On Nov. 12, 2016, at approximately 8:18 p.m., Sergeant Clint Wright of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department conducted a traffic stop on a 1995 Chevrolet Camaro on US 79 South for a speeding violation. Upon contact with the driver of the vehicle, 40-year-old Jason Le Duc of West Lafayette, Ind., Sergeant Wright determined that Le Duc was driving under the influence of alcohol and placed him under arrest. Upon further investigation, Le Duc was found to be in possession of Hydrocodone pills and marijuana.
Le Duc was taken to the Logan County Detention Center and charged with speeding 23 miles over the limit; possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense; prescription controlled substance not in proper container 1st degree; possession of marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia, and operating a motor vehicle under the influence 2nd offense.
