The Concerned Citizens of Logan County are giving away personal hygiene items on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at the KP Hall, 428 East 5th Street in Russellville. The items include: deodorant, shampoo and conditioner, feminine products, etc. These items are donated by the Feed the Children Oklahoma City.

“We are very grateful to the Feed the Children program out of Oklahoma City for their donations to our community,” said Dorris Vick, Director of Concerned Citizens.

Concerned citizens is a non-profit organization that helps the citizens in Logan County through a tutoring program, food and clothing bank, and heating and cooling assistance.

“We try to reach as many people as we can,” said Vick. “We rely on community support which in turn will allow us to support the people. We are very thankful to the community and businesses for investing in others. There are those out there in need of help everyday.”
