The Logan County Detention Center has just launched its new website (logancojail.com) to offer the community a look inside the jail. This is a very interactive site that provides a plethora of information. Looking for a current inmate? You will be able to find them on this site. Looking for job opportunities? Just click the button.
“This is something we needed to modernize the jail,” said Logan County Jailer Phil Gregory. “We wanted to give the public better access to certain information without having to call the jail to get it. That in itself will cut down on the phone calls at the jail, and also give the public a user friendly way to access what they need.”
Gregory said they bought the software for the website, while Jail Tracker designed it at no charge.
“We will keep the information updated,” said Gregory. “As soon as the booking process is completed it automatically updates itself.”
Along with locating inmates within the detention center, you can learn their charges and see a photograph of them. You can see who the jailer is and learn about inmate services such as mail, property, the inmate phone system, vine, bonds, commissary, religion and visitation hours.
“We are excited to announce that we have this new website,” said Gregory.
Photographs will also be seen on the site of the many programs at the jail including: the gardening project, litter abatement program, baptisms, educational programs, etc.
There is also a career opportunity page that offers pre-employment requirements.
