Recently Creekwood Place Nursing & Rehab Center in Russellville honored it volunteer’s with an Annual Volunteer Banquet. The volunteers were treated to a delicious supper and great entertainment by former Confederate Railroad member Cody McCarver, who is now in the ministry.
“We would like to thank each and every person, church, or group that volunteers their time and talent for our residents,” said Travis Bryan, Activities Director for Creekwood. “This year we also gave out our very first Creekwood Champion Award. It went to Gary Anderson.”
Gary volunteers on a daily and weekly basis with Creekwood and has for many years.
“He brings his musical talent, charm, and wit to us and we know that this is more than deserving of the award. We also want to say a special thank you to activities assistant, Jeanetta Morrison; marketing director, Misty Carlock; dietary manager, Jo Henderson; floor tech, Eddie Brooks, and administrator, Elizabeth Gettings for their help in putting on the event. Also, a very special thank you to Freeland Dodge Jeep Chrysler Ram in Russellville for sponsoring our entertainment for the evening,” said Bryan.
