With the holidays approaching many will soon be dragging out boxes, which hold Christmas decorations to be put up. Trees will be put together to hold ornaments collected over the years, hanging beside your children’s creations that take a special place up front. This year save a space for your hometown as the Logan County Tourist & Convention Commission proudly presents their first custom designed and hand painted collectible. The tourism commission is offering an AmeriScape Ornament by Hestia Creations of the Historic Old Logan County Courthouse.

“We hope that there will be such an overwhelming response to our beautiful new ornaments that we can carry on this tradition for years to come, creating a new local scenic ornament each year,” said Janie Gregory, President of the Logan County Tourist & Convention Commission.

Yes, you can now have another part of your history taking its place on your Christmas tree by purchasing and supporting the local tourism commission.

The prices of the ornaments are $22. These can be purchased at the Logan County Tourism Office on the first floor of the historic Logan County Courthouse at 200 W 4th Street in Russellville. Ornaments can be ordered and shipped as well with the added cost of shipping. Orders can be placed by calling the Tourism Office at 270-726-1678 or by email logankytourism@att.net or by written request at PO Box 1678, Russellville, KY 42276.
