Stolen vehicle located

On Aug. 2, 2016, the Russellville Police Department received a report that a stolen vehicle from Warren County had been spotted in the area of North Main Street in Russellville. Upon patrolling the area, officers located a silver Jeep Cherokee matching the description of the stolen vehicle from Warren County.

Officers observed a white male park and exit the vehicle at 155 East 2nd Street. Officers detained the subject upon contact.

After further investigation, it was determined that the vehicle was entered stolen by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office.

Kyle Johnston, 32, of Bethlehem, Ga., was placed under arrest for Receiving Stolen Property $500-$10,000 and Possession of Marijuana. Johnston was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.

Although the vehicle was located, other items that were also stolen have not been recovered, including a red Honda Rancher four-wheeler. If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of this stolen property, please contact the Russellville Police Department or Crimestoppers.
