Shelley Head recently joined the Auburn Banking Company team (Russellville branch) as their newest loan officer. Shelley comes to the banking institution from Farm Credit Mid-America on the Bypass in Russellville, where she worked in lending for nine years. Shelley also worked for Citizens Union Bank in Adairville.
Shelley is a graduate of Logan County High School and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems from Western Kentucky University. She became interested in banking as a co-op student at Southern Deposit Bank.
“While in high school I felt I was being lead to a career in banking,” said Shelley. “I sparked an interest while watching some of those in banking and knew that was what I wanted to do.”
Shelley added that it is exciting for her to help others, as well as to become a partner with her clients in reaching their financial goals.
“Being a native of Logan County and having an opportunity to help my neighbors creates a personal satisfaction for me,” Shelley said.
One of the benefits for Shelley joining the team at Auburn Banking Company is being able to continue learning from the best.
“Having an opportunity to serve under some of the most skilled bankers is a dream come true for me,” said Shelley. “Auburn Banking Company is your hometown bank. I look forward to building great relationships here. It is a privilege to be able to work with members of this community.”
Shelley invites those in need of banking services to come in and sit down with her. She says she will do all she can to help make your needs a reality.
“This isn’t just a banking institution, it’s a family,” Shelley said.
Brian White, President at Auburn Banking Company is very excited as well to have Shelley Head as part of the team.
“She brings with her a lot of experience and knowledge,” said White. “The way she treats her clients was very attractive to our team. She cares for those she serves and she will be a good fit for our bank.”
