The annual Logan County Fair has been ongoing all week and there are still several events on tap for this weekend.
So far this week there has been the cattle show, hog show, lamb show, children’s beauty pageant, gospel singing and karaoke.
All fair events will take place in or around the Logan County Extension Complex, who helps run the event along with the Fair Board and the Logan County Tourism Commission. There are many volunteers who lend their time to the week-long event each year. The Extension Complex is located at 255 John Paul Rd.
“The Logan County Fair Board is made up of a variety of great community volunteers that have worked really hard to bring Logan County an outstanding county fair,” said Leann S. Martin, Logan County Cooperative Extension Agriculture & Natural Resource Agent.
On Friday night there will be go cart racing starting at 6:30 p.m. in the Logan County Ag Arena.
And then on Saturday there will be a crafts/farmer’s market from 7:30 a.m. to noon, mule pull, BBQ cook off at 4 p.m. and the truck tug of war at 5 p.m.
