The South Logan Water District wants its customers to know that they are still under a boil water advisory.
After the main line break that occurred on Sunday morning, Denise Gunderson of South Logan Water said that test samples were taken to make sure the water is safe and free of contaminants.
“We are probably not going to know the results until Thursday,” Gunderson said.
Although no contamination has been confirmed, customers who have water service are advised to bring water to a rolling boil for three minutes, and let it cool, before use. Boiled or bottled water should be used for drinking, making ice, brushing teeth, washing dishes and food preparation until further notice.
