On Friday, April 15, 2016, at approximately 9 p.m., officers responded to a residence on Iroquois Circle, in reference to an open 911 line. Upon arrival at the residence, officers heard yelling and made entry into the home. Once inside, officers located 35-year-old Russell Scott, who was yelling threats at two other residents. A male was taken to Logan Memorial Hospital for treatment. A female resident sustained no injuries in the incident.
Scott was arrested and charged with Assault – 2nd Degree, Unlawful Imprisonment – 2nd Degree, and Menacing. Scott is lodged at the Logan County Detention Center with a $50,000 cash bond.
