This past week was Homecoming Week at Russellville High School.

It was a great week with the students dressing in themes each day, having a spirited Pep Rally Friday afternoon on Feb. 12, and then that night, our Lady Panther and Panther basketball teams experienced their Homecoming 2016, victories over the visiting Todd County Rebels.

Between the games the 2016 Basketball Homecoming Candidates were presented: 9th graders: Taryn Gray, Eli Anderson, Ashley Pitts, and Jacob Naylor; 10th graders: Emma McReynolds, Jacolbie Mason, Kristin Vanzant, Nelson Suiter; 11th graders: Tara Gilbert, Deandre Pedro Bradshaw, Monserrat Morales, and Johnny Drumgole; 12th graders: Chandara Vanna, Jason Mitchell, Victoria VanLoren Bilyeu, Mason Aguirre, Mia Na’Kya Bethea, and Colby Nichols. Our 2016 Homecoming Court results were as follows: Princess—Miss Monserrat Morales; Prince—Mr. Johnny Drumgole; Queen—Miss Mia Bethea; and King—Mr. Colby Nichols. Congratulations to all!

A huge thanks to Ms. Jessie Baker and our Pep Club Committee on another fun and successful Homecoming Week at RJSHS.
