Elaine Jenkins, treasure for the Logan County Fiscal, is retiring after 21 years of service. Jenkins began her career with the county in 1994, and will be leaving the end of this month.
At the Tuesday, June 23rd meeting of the Logan County Fiscal Court, magistrates recognized Jenkins by presenting her with a beautiful clock and a gift card.
“I really appreciate the opportunity to have served the county. I tried to do a good job,” said Jenkins.
The gift was presented to Jenkins by Judge Executive Logan Chick. Magistrates thanked Jenkins for her service and wished her well in retirement.
Amanda Warren, who works in the judge executive’s office, will become the new Logan County Treasurer.
“I think Amanda will do a great job,” said Jenkins.
