Marquece Evans gets first place in Ag Safety Day poster contest

Congratulations to Stevenson Elementary student, Marquece Evans! He is the first place winner of this year’s Ag Safety Day Poster Contest! Each year after attending the annual Progressive Ag Safety Day for their county, fourth grade students from Allen, Butler, Logan, Simpson, and Warren Counties are eligible to participate in the Farm Safety Poster Contest. Posters are judged on design, originality, artwork, and visual impact. The students who submit the top three posters are recognized at the annual dinner meeting of the Kentucky Partnership for Farm Family Health & Safety, and the top twelve posters are featured in the Kentucky Partnership’s yearly calendar. Prizes are awarded to each of the winners, with $150 for first place, $100 for second place, and $50 for third place. Great job, Marquece!
