Two Auburn citizens were arrested Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2016, for allegedly taking items out of a barn on Rock Castle Church Road in Russellville at approximately 5:16 p.m.
According to police, Thomas M. Price, 33, and Lindsey J. Camp, 29, both of 278 Angus Lane in Auburn, were stopped by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department and were taken into custody after finding several stolen items in the trunk of the vehicle.
The sheriff’s department had received a call of a burglary in progress on Rock Castle Church Road prior to the stop. The caller had stated two subjects were carrying items out of a barn. The two subjects had left in a red car with front damage traveling on US 68 East in the area of Logan County High School.
Both Price and Camp were arrested and taken to the Logan County Detention Center on charges of burglary 3rd degree.
Deputy Kyler Harvey of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department was the arresting officer. He was assisted at the scene by Capt. David Kitchens and Jarrod Lyons of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
