The 2015 Logan County Fair is quickly approaching. Fair activities will kick off July 11 with a Horse Show and then pick up from July 18 through July 25.

Those groups involved in bringing the fair to Logan County citizens include the Logan County Extension Services, Logan County Tourism Commission, and many other community members who have volunteered their time.

“The Logan County Fair Board is made up of a variety of great community volunteers that have worked really hard to bring Logan County an outstanding County Fair,” said Leann S. Martin, Logan County Cooperative Extension Agriculture & Natural Resouces Agent.

Logan County has a very rich history with its county fair. There were a few years, however, where interest died down and the fair wasn’t as popular. However, that has all changed, and interest is once again high and community leaders have listened.

There are a plethora of exciting and entertaining events planned for the fair this year. Unfortunately, organizers were not able to bring a carnival to the fair this year.

“We hope, as the fair continues to grow, we will be financially able to bring a notable carnival to the Logan County Fair in the near future,” said Martin.
