A 40-year-old Adairville man threatened to kill anyone who came to his home Thursday, Dec. 17 prompting a visit from the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
According to reports, William E. Niemann of 250 Riverview Drive in Adairville, was causing a disturbance at his home, threatening to destroy property and kill anyone who arrived at his residence.
When deputies arrived at Mr. Niemann’s home they located him sitting in a vehicle in the driveway. Niemann became combative and irate and attempted to fight the deputies. After a short altercation, he was arrested and taken to the Logan County Detention Center where he was booked into jail on charges of terroristic threatening 3rd degree; disorderly conduct 2nd degree, menacing; resisting arrest; public intoxication; possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (cocaine).
Deputy Kyler Harvey of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department is the arresting officer. He was assisted on scene by deputy Jarrod Lyons, Sgt. Rob Toombs and Sgt. Clint Wright.
