Drug task force confiscates drugs and cash

Agents of the South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force (SCKDTF) made an arrest Nov. 24, 2015, which resulted in the confiscation of hundreds of dollars in cash, long with methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

According to a release, agents executed a search warrant on 864 Armstrong Street in Russellville at approximately 3 p.m. Upon searching the residence, agents found methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and money associated with trafficking illegal drugs. A gun was also recovered.

Bryan McHargue, 30, of the same address was taken into custody by law enforcement. McHargue is a convicted felon and has three outstanding warrants. He was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, second or greater offense; possession of controlled substance 1st degree (meth), second or greater offense, and possession of drug paraphernalia

Assisting the SCKDTF were the Russellville Police Department, Logan County Sheriff Department, and the Logan County Attorneys Office.
