Christmas portraits at the Logan County Library

By Chris Cooper -

Logan County’s Public Library has numerous programs for all to enjoy. From story hour and snackcraft for children to Thrifty Thursday and coloring group for adults, programming is a large part of the library and what it has to offer. Because these programs cost to provide the library holds fundrasiers to help pay for them. One of the up-and-coming fundrasiers will benefit those around the holidays.

If you need holiday portraits for your Christmas cards or would like some nice pictures of your family for the fall, come to the library on Monday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 20 to take individual or family pictures just for you. Photographer Shanna Davis will be there to capture that holiday spirit. There will be two different colored backgrounds for you to choose from, with the option of using both for an extra charge. The best part is you will receive a digital copy so that you can print as many copies as you would like!

Cost for the photos is as follows:

$7 for one background

$13 for both backgrounds

A percentage of each purchase will go toward library programming. Please call 270-599-2203 to make an appointment.

“This is a fundrasing project for the library and it will benefit programming,” said Carol Ann Fulkner, children service coordinator. “We have numerous programming for all age, and we are always bringing awareness there are many opportunities at the library.”
