Thomas Freese, a successful storyteller, author, and artist, visited Stevenson Elementary School third graders recently.

Artist in residence, Thomas Freese, a successful storyteller, author, and artist, visited Stevenson Elementary School on Thursday, October 29.

He offers 20 exciting and varied story programs to children and adults, playing guitar and harmonica. He was first interviewed by the GATE students, and he displayed his wood carvings, Native American items, and played some music.

He then shared various art work, such as origami, with our third graders at 8:30; fifth graders at 10; second graders at 10:40; Kindergarten at noon; and fourth graders at 1:50 during their related arts times in the gym. He was well-received by everyone.
