Early Monday morning on Oct, 19, 2015, at approximately 1 a.m. the Russellville City Fire Department was dispatched to a structure fire at 231 Hopkinsville Road at Trembley Pool and Spa. Reports came in of visible smoke and flames.

The fire it was found originated in a tool shed and had spread to an adjacent garage on the back side of the business. The fire was quickly contained and confined to the garage it was located in when firefighters arrived on scene.

“There were no injuries on the scene and damage was confined to the contents of the garage and tool shed on the back of the structure,” said fire chief Shaun Ross. “The Russellville City Firefighters did an excellent job of arriving quickly and protecting the store and showroom from any damage.”

The city fire department was aided on the scene by the Russellville Rural Fire Department in the form of a tanker truck for additional water supply. The cause of this fire is undetermined at this time.
