Auburn looking for person of interest

Auburn Police are looking for this suspect in connection with a theft at the Auburn Dollar General Store.


Auburn Police Chief Larry Jones is looking for a person of interest in connection with a theft that occurred at the Dollar General Store at the edge of town on Sept. 22, 2015, at approximately 4:30 p.m. This incident adds to the rash of automobile break-ins the department has under investigation.

Chief Jones has released a still photo of a store video taken at the Dollar General of the suspect entering the store. He is asking for help from the public in finding the individual. It is a white female, with a sleeveless floral shirt and dark shorts. She appears to have short brown hair in the video.

If you recognize this individual please notify the Auburn Police Department at 270-542-4149 ext. 205 (leave a message), or the Emergency Communications Center at 270-726-4911.

Also, if anyone has seen any suspicious activity in Auburn, please notify the police department right away with descriptions of vehicles or person(s).
