A Lewisburg man was arrested Friday after members of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department found him in possession of methamphetamine and other drug related items.
According to a police report, on Friday, Aug. 29, the Logan County Sheriff’s Department went to a residence on Lewisburg Road, just north of Lewisburg to serve a search warrant.
After gaining access to the home, deputies located crystal methamphetamine and other various items of drug paraphernalia.
The owner of the residence, Earl K. Johnson, was then arrested and charged with first degree, second offense possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Johnson was then transported and lodged in the Logan County Detention Center.
Deputy Jakop Smith is the investigating officer and was assisted on the scene by other members of the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
