Dorothy Mae Lack, 82, of Lewisburg, died at her home Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011.

She was born in Logan County May 31, 1929, a daughter of the late Boyd Blackford and the late Lela Mae Blackford. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lack is preceded in death by her Husband, Charlie “Charles” Lack; her brother, Kenneth Blackford, and her sister, Marthe Belle Belcher.

Mrs. Lack was a member of Guptons Grove Baptist Church and worked at Eastside Laundry for most of her life.

Funeral services were held Sunday, Oct. 30 at 2 p.m. at the Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel. Burial followed at the Chandlers Chapel Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, Oct. 29 from 5-8 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 30 from 8 a.m. until time of service. Young Funeral Home Russellville Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers were, Chad Hooper, Alan Michael Lack, Jim Parrish, Ben Pedigo, Kevin Belcher, Greg Belcher, Jeff Belcher, Conner Vance, Chris Blackford, Dale Blackford, Jr. Blackford and Denies Jautz.

She is survived by her son, Alan Lack and wife Missy of Bowling Green; her daughters, Brenda Coursey and husband Curtis of Lewisburg and Connie Pipes and husband Neil of Franklin; her sisters, Jean Parrish and husband Floyd Russellville and Lois Vaughn and husband Bruce of Lewisburg; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
