Chloe Harper Olmstead Student
December 23, 2013
Kids on the Block came to Olmstead School to put on a puppet for students in the elementary and intermediate grades. The puppet show was about bullying and school safety. It was good to know how to stop bullying and about school safety.
The Kids on the Block taught us that bullying is bad. The puppet show taught us that there are many different ways to act if you get bullied. One way to act if you get bullied is to try ignoring them and walk toward a teacher if they follow you. Another way is to try the be there friend, if they don’t have any friends. When the Kids on the Block came, they taught us that bullying is not nice.
The Kids on the Block also taught us that you can stop bullying. You can talk to your parents about it, make posters and hang them around your school. You can also talk to your teacher, Principal or Guidance Counselor about it. You can talk to people who care about you and they could help you come up with a solution to stop bullying. You can stop bullying by listening to the advice from the Kids on the Block.
The Kids on the Block taught us ways to stay safe at school. You can follow all the rules at school. You can tell a teacher when your hurt or if someone has done something to you. You can ask a teacher how you can make posters about school safety and hang them around the school.
Kids on the Block taught us how to stop bullying and stay safe at school. I hope the Kids on the Block come back next year.
