Substantial drug arrest in Russellville

Agents of the Alcohol Tobacco & Firearms (ATF), South Central Kentucky Drug Task Force and the United States Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force Western District of Kentucky served a search warrant at 518 East 6th Street in Russellville on Friday, Oct. 18, 2013, at approximately 8:30 a.m. as part of a lengthy investigation.

The warrant was the result of an investigation into the sale of cocaine in both Russellville and surrounding areas.

Agents spent hours searching the residence and eventually arrested Kelly Morris, who was at the scene and taken into custody without incident.

Morris was charged with two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance (cocaine), two counts of possession of a controlled substance (cocaine) And two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Agents were assisted by the Kentucky State Police (KSP), the Russellville Police Department and the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
