Nelline E. Baldwin, age 92, of Adairville, Ky., passed away Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at Creekwood Place in Russellville, Ky.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday, Nov. 2 at 1 p.m. at Dean Funeral Chapel with Rev. Junior England and Rev. Johnie Baldwin, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery with Jonathan Baldwin, Josh Baldwin, Matt Heitcamp, Barry Turns, Samuel Baldwin, and Ryan Devine serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, Nov. 2 from 11 a.m. until the hour of service.

Mrs. Baldwin was born May 4, 1926, in Allen County, Ky. to the late Jeannie Potter and Magnola King England.

She was a member of Logan Mill Emanuel Church of Christ and enjoyed reading her Bible. As her family described her, she was a prayer warrior. She worked for many years at Auburn Hosiery Mill in Adairville and later worked as a tutor. In 1994 she was awarded the Tutor of the Year through the Green Thumb Adult Education Program.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnie Ward Baldwin, Sr.; a grandson, Chad Batson; six sisters, and two brothers.

She is survived by her sons, Melvin Baldwin and wife LaDonna of Adairville, Ky., Johnie W. Baldwin, Jr. and wife Deborah Jo of Springfield, Tenn., and Stephen W. Baldwin of Adairville, Ky.; her daughter, Carol Baldwin Devine and husband James of Foster, RI; 12 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren.
