Janora Ruth Jones, 84, of Adairville, Ky., passed away on Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018, at her home.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, Oct. 3 at 12 p.m. at the Dean Funeral Chapel in Adairville, Ky. Interment followed in the Central Grove Cemetery in Centertown, Ky. with Logan Porch, Dalton Porch, Ezra Paden, Zackery Paden, Gabriel Johnson, Nick Goley, and Jamie Goley serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Zane Wright, Carson Crail, Griffin Johnson, Andrew Goley, and Eric Bjorkstrom. The family received friends from 9 a.m. until service time on Wednesday, Oct. 3 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Jones was born April 13, 1934, in Ohio County, Ky. to the late Attrice B. and Nellie Bishop Faught.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ in Springfield. Mrs. Jones enjoyed working crossword puzzles and sewing. She played the Accordion and loved to sing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jeanie Himes; her brother, Roby Faught, and her sister, Barbara Shelton.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and Cledith Hockenbury of Corydon, Ind., Lourene and Teddy Goley of Adairville, Ky.; her brother, Aubrey Faught of Hobert, Ind.; eight grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren, and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Dean Funeral Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
