Russellville snapped a two-game skid on Friday night with a 35-14 playoff win over Fort Knox. The Panthers also defeated Fort Knox last season in the opening round of the Class 1A playoffs.

The Panthers used five different players to put points on the board Friday. Lennon Ries, Xavier Coleman, Chevis Elliott, Jovari Gamble, and Hunter McDowell each added to the score on the way to the 35 total points scored by Russellville.

Jacob Naylor threw three touchdown passes with only seven completions on the night. Naylor totaled 84 yards through the air. The Senior quarterback also ran for 130 yards.

Chevis Elliott totaled 86 yards and one score on the ground. Jovari Gamble ran in one touchdown and had 72 yards total.

Lennon Ries caught three of Naylor's passes for 54 yards and two scores.

Xavier Coleman caught the other touchdown from Naylor for 16 yards.

Hunter McDowell kicked five extra points in the win.

Zavius Coleman led the defense with 12 total tackles. The Panthers recorded 5.5 sacks on the night.

Russellville travels to Campbellsville on Friday to play the Eagles (9-1.)
