Russellville Senior Ryan Flores led the Panthers with 168 yards receiving and two touchdowns in the 23-22 win over Fulton County on Friday.

It was Homecoming week at Russellville High School. The Panthers hosted Fulton County on Friday night at Rhea Stadium. Russellville pulled off a dramatic comeback to win the game 23-22.

The Panthers were down 22-0 late in the 3rd quarter as Fulton County looked confident to take home a win. On the final play of the quarter, quarterback Jacob Naylor put the Panthers on the board with a rushing score from 23-yards out. Russellville went for two to make it 22-8 as the quarter expired.

The 4th quarter belonged to Russellville. Ryan Flores caught two touchdown passes from Naylor. The Panthers converted another two-point conversion, and kicker Hunter McDowell booted the game-winner through the uprights after the last Flores touchdown.

Naylor finished with 268 yards through the air and two touchdowns. The Panthers only managed 56 yards on the ground.

Ryan Flores caught eight passes for 168 yards.

Edward Barber led the defense with 22 total tackles in the game.

The Panthers will return to action on October 13th. They will host Fulton City in the Tobacco Festival Bowl at 2 p.m.
