Braxton Meguiar slides into third base during the district tournament last week. Meguiar was named to the All-District team and has a season batting average of (.449.)

Both the Logan County Cougars and Lady Cougars advanced to the regional tournament by making it to the district championship games this week. The Cougars won the tournament. The Lady Cougars were runner-up.

The All-District baseball baseball team included Kaleb Justice, Bradley Taylor, Ethan Smock, Koby Wall, and Braxton Meguiar from Logan County. Dillon Porter and Jesus Zamarripa were selected from Russellville.

The All-District softball team was made up of Brea Croslin, KJ Page, Sydney Lee, and Shelby Gettings from the Lady Cougars. Taryn Gray, A'miyah Collier, and Bam Ray were the selections from the Lady Panthers.

Bradley Taylor leads the state in home runs going into the tournament. He has 14 on the year. Taylor also has a team-high batting average of (.500.)

Brea Croslin has smashed ten home runs for the Lady Cougars. KJ Page carries a (.556) batting average into the regional tournament.
